How beautiful and loveable relation is among husband and wife created the Lord God? In the word of God it written, “Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun”. How this verse reveals the truth of joyous, love and pleasure for mankind in his family life? And how wonderful and awesome blessings of pleasure for every male and for every female there is which God provided for them? And this pleasant and blissful relation may be kept only in living according to the word of God. Where it is written, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church: and he is the Saviour of the body. Therefore as the Church is subject unto Christ, So let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church and gave himself for it; so ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the Church: for we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the Church. Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband”.
And again it is said, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered”. (Ecclesiastes 9:9) (Ephesians 6:22-33) (1-Peter 3:1-7)
Being children and parents: The first commandment with promise is, “Honour thy father and honour thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee”. And again it is stated thus, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye father, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”. It is also written thus, “The rod and reproof give wisdom: But a child left to himself bringeth his other to shame. Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul”. And it is said, “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it”. (Exodus 20:12) (Ephesians 6:1-4) (Proverbs 29:15, 17) (Proverbs 22:6)
Being a master and a servant: Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your hearts, as unto Christ; not with eye service, a s men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive to the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, for bearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him”. (Ephesians 6:5-9)
Patriotism: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not terror to good works, but to evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good and thou shalt have praise of the same: for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword invain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For, for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.” Then again it written in the word of God, “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.” (Romans 13:1-7) (1-Peter 2:13-17)

In the beginning, the Lord Almighty God created man and took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. There we see, in the very beginning, how God taught mankind to work. So it is must for every person to work and not to be lazy or workless. In the word of God we read it that if any would not work, neither should he eat. It is also written, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ”. It is written about a sluggish, “Go to ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide,
overseer or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man”. He becometh poor that dealth with a slack hand: But the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: But he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame”. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: But the slothful shall be under tribute. The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. He also that is slothful in his work; is brother to him that is a great waster. Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom; and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. The slothful man saith, “There is a lion in the way; A lion is in the street. As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed. The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth. The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.(Colossians3:23-24(proverbs 6:6-11; 10:4-5; 12:24; 13:4; 18; 19:15, 24;
20:4; 26:13-116). Warning against the false teachers:
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deuteronomy 4:1-2) And in the last book of the Holy Bible, the Revelation, it is written thus, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation
22:18-19)
“All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.” (1-Peter 1:24-25) |
