BERACHAH CHURCH (A PLACE OF PRAISE, PRAYERS AND WORSHIP THE LORD.)

In the Word of God is written thus, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.” (Hebrews 6:1-2)
The Lord God warned His People, "Now therefore hearken, o Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought  from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you". (Deuteronomy 4:1-2)

 1. The Holy Scriptures: (the Holy Bible)

We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books, to be the inspired Word of God, without error, the revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. We believe that the Holy Bible is the written word of the living God. We believe it was inspired by the Holy Spirit and recorded by holy men of old. It is infallible in content and a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction, which is truth without any mixture of error.

When we speak of the divine nature of the Holy Bible it applies strictly speaking to the original writings (the Autographs) and not to the translations; however, believe mankind has received the actual Word of God in His divine plan as the HOLY BIBLE has withstood all attempts at its extinction down through the ages. The Holy Bible reveals the principles by which God will judge us and reveals His great plan of salvation. It will remain eternally. We believe the Holy Bible is the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions should be tried. Therefore, we believe this Word of God should go into the entire world and should be given first place in every believer's life. (2-Pete 1:19-21; 1-Peter 1:23-25; Hebrew 4:12; 2-Timothy 3:16; Psalms 119: 89, 140)

2. God and The Holy Trinity:

We believe in one true God of the Holy Bible, all powerful, all knowing and eternal; revealed in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit…. making up the blessed Holy trinity. The Holy Scriptures clearly teach that there is only one God who is an infinite being and who exists in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each person is wholly God, equal in power and glory, and possesses precisely the same attributes and perfection. Though undivided in nature and being, they each have different roles, eternally functioning with perfect harmony. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Mark 12:29-30; Matthew 28:18-20; 2-Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-14; John 14: 5-11; Matthew 3:16-17)

3. Jesus Christ, Fully God and fully Man:

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the second person of the Trinity, is God, He is of the same essence as the Father and equal to Him. At just the right time, according to the predestined plan of God, the eternal Son became a man. He was made like us in every way, except for His sinlessness. The Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary conceived Him. This union of the divine and human made Jesus forever both God and man in one person. He is fully God and fully man. Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man, was, and is, fully God and fully man. (John 3:16; Romans 1:1-4; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 1:26-38; John 5:5-14; John 10:22-29; Galatians 4: 1-7; Hebrews 4:14-16; Matthew 1:18-24; 1-Timothy 2:5-6)

4. The Mankind:

We believe that all humanity was made in the image of God, but through willful disobedience fell into a corrupt state of sin. In this fallen state we are totally depraved and unable to in anyway bring about our own salvation. Now man in his natural state, is a sinner-lost, undone, without hope, and without God. (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-24; Romans 5:12; 3:19-23; Galatians 3:22; Ephesians 2:1,2,12)

5. Salvation:

We believe the terms of salvation are repentance toward God for sin and a personal, heartfelt faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is how the new birth occurs, which we call being “born again.” Salvation is possible only through God's grace by faith, not by our works. When one believes and accepts Christ, he is then justified by the saving work of the Cross. Good works are simply the fruit or proof of salvation. (Acts 3:19-20; Romans 4:1-5; 5:1; 1-Peter 1:18-19)

6.Baptism:

We believe the water baptism to be a sacrament. Water Baptism should immediately follow the experience of the new birth as a public witness to one's faith. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 19:2-6; 1-Peter 3:21)

7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit:

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is for all believers as promised by John the Baptist. However, we do not require the following of such as a prerequisite to membership. Nor do we require other external signs of the member, such as the speaking of tongues. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:8; 2:38-39; Ephesians 1:13-14; Luke 24:49; John 14:16-18,26)

8 The Church (Body of Christ)

We believe the Body of Christ is made up of all who have been “born again” regardless of denominational differences. We believe in the Spirit of Unity, while allowing for variety in individual ministries as to their work, calling and location as directed by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 10:34-35; 1-Corinthians 12:12-31; John 17:11,21-23)

9. Blood atonement:

We believe in the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness. (Ephesians 1:3-14; 1-Peter 1:18; 1-John 1:7)

10. Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ:

We believe in the visible, bodily return of Christ Jesus to this earth, to meet His Church (Bride) and to judge the world. (Acts 1:10-11; 1-Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2-Thessalonians 1:7-10; James 5:8; revelation 1:7)

11. Ordinances:

We believe that the two ordinances of the Body of Christ are water baptism and the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Luke 22:17-20; 1-Corinthians 11:23:31)

12. Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit to be the third person of the Holy Trinity whose purpose in the redemption of man is to convict of sin, regenerate the repentant believer, guide the believer into all truth, indwell all believers and give gifts to those He wills that they may minister as Christ would to men. We believe the manifestations of the Holy Spirit recorded in 1-Corinthians 12:1-11 will operate through present –day Christians who yield to Jesus. (Luke 11:13; John 7:37-39; 14:16-17; 16:7-14; Acts 2:1-18)

13. Divine Healing:

We believe God has used doctors, medicines and other natural means as channels of healing; however, we believe divine healing is provided for believers in the atonement made by Jesus' blood shed on the Cross (Isaiah 53:5; 1-Peter 2:24) We believe divine healing may be received by the laying on of hands by the elders (James 5:14-16), by the prayer of   an anointed person gifted by the Holy Spirit for healing the sick (1-Corinthians 12:9), or by a direct act of receiving this provision by faith (Mark 11:23-24).

14. Judgment:

God has appointed a day when He will judge the world with perfect justice through Jesus Christ, to whom He has given all power and authority. On that day the fallen angels will be judged as well as everyone who has ever lived on the earth. All must appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give account for everything they have done (their thoughts, words, and actions) while they lived on the earth. The wicked will be sent into the Lake of Fire to experience eternal torment, while the righteous, those whom Jesus purchased on the  Cross with His precious blood, will be rewarded and will enter into eternal life (John 5:24-30; Jude 5-7; 2-Corinthians 5:6-10; 1-Corithians 4:1-5, Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15).

15. Marriage:

Marriage was originally established by God to join a man and a woman together for life. Believers are instructed to only marry another believer. Marriage serves a variety of God-ordained purposes. Its primary purpose is to provide companionship. A secondary purpose is procreation. Another reason for marriage is to provide a legitimate outlet for our sexual drive. Marriage also functions as a picture for the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Church. (Genesis 1:26-31; Ephesians 5:22-23; 1-Corinthians 7:39-40; Romans 7:1-3; Genesis 2: 18-25, 1-Corinthians 7:1-7) Although most individuals will get married, there is a special enabling for some to be single. Singleness (celibacy) provides greater freedom for service to the Lord and is to be honored in the Church (Matthew 19:10-12; 1-Corinthians 7:8-9; 7:25-40).

16. Priesthood of the believers:

The believers, those who are born again are priests to worship the Lord. And the Lord himself is their high priest and they can enter into the presence of the Father, very near to the throne of grace. The Priests must be amongst the believers who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. Women believers are forbidden to be a priest in the Church. (Acts 6:3; 1-Timothy 3:1-10;Titus 1:5-9; 1-Timothy 2:11-15; 1-Cor.14: 34-37)

17. The First day of the week:

We also gather together to break bread and worship on the first day of the week as our forefathers, the apostles were used to break bread in the Church. (Acts 20:7; 1-Cor. 16:2)

18. Local Assembly:

The believers gather together for worship and prayer etc. in   the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, called Assembly. It is the local Assembly. It is autonomous and maintaining its administration (oversight the believers) by the elders those who are gifted by Holy Spirit. (Acts 6:3-6)

19. Universal church:

The believers those who are from the inaugurating Pentacostal day to the coming day of our Lord included in the universal church and there is no division or any cast nor creed. All, those who are born again, they are the members of the same and Lord comes to collect them all unto Him.

(1-Cor. 12:12-27; John 17:11,21-23)

20. Lord's coming:

The return of the Lord and rapture of the church is pre-tribulational and pre-millennial. The saints who dead shall be raised and the saints who live shall be changed into immortal body, in the twinkling of an eye and caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. There after the seven years of tribulation in the world, Christ will descend in the glory with His saints to establish His millennial kingdom on earth. (Thess. 4:15-17; 1-Cor. 15:51-52)

21. Satan:

The anointed cherub that covereth, Lucifer became Satan. He was perfect when God created him. But he rebelled and became adversary of God and His saints. He was judged and defeated at the Cross and ultimately he will be cast down in the eternal fire. (Rev. 20:7-10)

22.Hell:

The eternal fire is prepared for the devil and his angles. Those who follow Satan and leave true God and God's way of salvation, will be cast down in to this lake of fire They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever, there. (Matt. 25:41; Rev.20: 7-10; 21:8).

Warning:

It is said in the word of God, "For I testify unto every man that hearth the words of prophecy of the book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are  written in this book;  and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of  the book of life, and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this book". (Revelation 22:18-19)
